The development of our new DNA sequence assembly software is nearly finished.
The release of this easy to handle and fast sequence assembler is expected in February 2010. It imports SCF, ABI, AB1 (ABI prim sequencers), SFF (454 sequencers), FASTA, GenBank and EMBL sequences as well as the trace data curves and flowgrams.

Fast means, that it assembles the 3080 sequences of the SARS coronavirus TOR2 complete genome (about 31000 bp) in 2 minutes and 30 seconds on a normal desktop computer.
