Obtaining free SequentiX trial licenses

• DNA Dragon and GelQuest & ClusterVis - online request.
• DNA Dragon and GelQuest & ClusterVis - offline request.
• SeqAssem, Align, TreeMe and OptiCount - trial license request.

How to Obtain a DNA Dragon and GelQuest & ClusterVis trial license if you computer is connected to the internet

1. Download, install and run the software.
2. Click the menu 'Help' --> 'License'.
3. Enter your title, first name, last name and email address.
4. Click the button 'Send your request'.
5. The license will be send to the specified email address.

How to Obtain a DNA Dragon and GelQuest & ClusterVis Trial License if you computer is NOT connected to the internet

1. Download, install and run the software.
2. Click the menu 'Help' --> 'License'.
3. Read the computer ID as given in the title of the license window: License [your computer ID is: ?????].
4. Send an email containing your
   * Computer ID (see the title of the license window!)
   Please note: The ID can also be a negative number!
   * Your name
   * The application: 'GelQuest & ClusterVis'
   to info@sequentix.de.
   Then, we will send you a trial license.
5. The license will be send to the specified email address.

How to Obtain a SequentiX Trial License for SeqAssem, Align, TreeMe and OptiCount

1. Download, install and run the software.
2. Click the software registration menu.
3. Now you have three options:
   • EITHER: Click the label 'Click to obtain a trial license'. The default email client will open. Send the email using the default email client.
   • OR: Click the label 'Click to obtain a trial license'. If you are using another email program or an online interface just copy the email text and paste it into the desired email program or online interface. Send the email to: info@sequentix.de.
   • OR: If your default email client is not configured properly you may not see the email text for requesting a trial license. In this case just copy the 'Computer ID'.
     Please note, that this may also be negative number!
     
     Send an email to info@sequentix.de in the format given below. The [...] fields must be completed!
