'Ultrametric' means that for a distance matrix D, every triplet of taxa xi, xj, xk the three distances
D(xi, xj), D(xi, xk) and D(xj, xk) have the property that either:
1. All three distances are equal, or
2. Two distances are equal and the remaining one is smaller.
